We are not a roofing contractor. We schedule free roof estimates and send a licensed, insured roofing company in your area to provide them.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request an estimate, we collect whether you own the home, your roof type, what's going on with your roof, the property address, your first and last name, email address, and phone number. We also keep a record of your consent to be contacted, including the consent language shown, the date and time, your IP address, and your browser information.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and advertising identifiers in the link you clicked (such as UTM parameters, Google click IDs, and Meta click IDs). We may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising.

If you're outside our service area and ask to be notified, we collect your email address and the address you entered.

How we use your information

• To confirm your phone number by sending you a one-time code by text message.
• To contact you by phone, text, or email to schedule your free roof estimate.
• To share your request with a roofing company in your area so it can provide your estimate.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
• To measure and improve our advertising.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

How we share your information

• Roofing companies. We share the information you submit with a licensed, insured roofing company in your area so it can provide your estimate. That company may contact you directly about your estimate. Roofing companies pay us for these referrals. Each roofing company's use of your information is governed by its own privacy practices.
• Service providers. We use companies that help us run the Site, such as website hosting, data storage, text message delivery and phone verification, address lookup, analytics, and advertising. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Calls and text messages

If you agree when you submit the form, we and a licensed roofing company in your area may call or text you at the number you provide about your estimate, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. To stop calls, tell the caller or email us at hello@cindermarketing.com. Opting out of our messages does not opt you out of messages from a roofing company you have already been connected with; contact that company directly.

Cookies and advertising

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also manage ad personalization in your Google and Meta account settings. Some features of the Site may not work properly without cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, including keeping records of your consent, and as required by law.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing hello@cindermarketing.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
